Meet L.T. Blackwell.
North Carolina roots. A life of service. A passion for helping people grow.
Pastor Lenard Blackwell, known to readers as L.T. Blackwell, is a North Carolina native from Winston-Salem and the eldest of four children. Family, faith, and the responsibilities of being the oldest sibling are part of the story he brings to his writing.
He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve, training as a combat medic before moving into logistics. His military service included two Army Achievement Medals—a chapter of his life grounded in service, teamwork, and responsibility.
Today, Lenard serves as Senior Pastor of Redeemed Sheep of Christ Deliverance Ministry and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at South College. His interest in understanding people goes hand in hand with his calling to teach the Word of God and his goal of serving communities with limited access to counseling.
Alongside ministry and writing, he brings years of retail management and team leadership experience. He is also a music lover and a proud dog dad. These different parts of his life keep his work connected to the everyday questions people carry about identity, relationships, faith, and purpose.
Through his books, L.T. Blackwell invites readers to look beyond labels, reflect honestly on their experiences, and consider who God created them to be. His writing brings biblical teaching into conversation with personal growth, offering encouragement for a faith that is lived as well as believed.
